Now what
My dear friend Ashleigh has been hounding me for not continuing this blog. In all honesty, I have been at a loss of what to write. How do I top my trip to India? Alas my day to day cannot top a trip like that, but I think the next best thing will be to share moments in my life that mean something to me. Who knows what will happen next?
A few weeks ago I went to a Women’s Conference at Church of the Apostles here in Atlanta. I met some amazing women and walked away with a lot of nuggets of truth that I am still uncovering. A side note from the conference were the Caribou Coffee cups.

They had all these stories/thoughts written on there. It was a great reminder to me about how unique each person is & how important the moments God has given us are.
After the conference, two of my friends and I went to lunch and walked around shops in Atlanta. We walked into this crazy shop of randomness and found puppets. Here they are making up a play in the middle of the store! I cannot help but smile when I think about the new friends I have made here in Atlanta and how close I have become with so many.

I will leave this post with one thought that I need to constantly remind myself with: Don’t miss the memories coming your way today!

Till we meet again
My India adventure ended Sunday night as I boarded my 15 hour flight to head home. It is hard to believe only two weeks ago I started this journey, when I feel that I have always been there!
In order to avoid writing a novel, here are just a few highlights from India:
-the crazy but somehow it works driving
-the FOOD! And drinking true Chai everyday!
-learning Hindi (all of maybe a handful of words and numbers 1-10)
-beautiful people… My uncle says every 40km the dialect and culture change. It was amazing to see it first hand in Gujarat. Not to mention the Indian clothing for women is so colorful and beautiful!
-I loved learning some of India’s history (the bad and the good)
-street stores: the most efficient use of space that I have seen in shops
-Cows hanging out in the street :)
-getting a glimpse of the influences India has on the world
-best part of my trip hands down was seeing/meeting family. I cannot describe in words how loved they made me feel. They went out of their way to make sure I would be comfortable and were beyond generous to me! I love the fact that my family is spread out all over the world because it is making me treasure any time I get to be with them.I now wait to board my connecting flight to head back home and I am already trying to plan a time to go back to visit India again. This time I will try to learn more Hindi beforehand :)
Thanks for following my adventure and hopefully this is just the first one of many!
